English: A member of the Chilean Media interviews Sergeant Kimberly Barton, Logistics Combat Element supply chief with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Chicago, after a press conference on the flight deck of the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in Valparaiso, Chile, Aug. 24, 2014. The press conference was led by the ship’s commanders and U.S. Ambassador to Chile Michael Hammer. America moored in Valparaiso for a scheduled port visit to conduct key leader engagements with distinguished visitors, give tours showcasing the capabilities of the ship and Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South and host an evening reception emphasizing the imperative of partnership and cooperation between the U.S. naval forces and Chile.
