Description
English: The U.S. Military Sealift Command Safeguard-class salvage ship USNS Salvor (T-ARS-52) off Oahu, Hawaii (USA), on 18 January 2018. Salvor served as a support platform for Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 (MDSU-1) , conducting underwater searches in the last known position of two U.S. Marine Corps Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters off the north shore of Oahu. MDSU-1 was equipped with side scan sonar and a remotely operated vehicle.
