Description
English: The Army Commendation Medal was awarded to Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Donald J. Hodory for his vital role in the construction of 60 stained-glass windows for the chapel Aug. 27, at Al Asad, Iraq. Hodory, a native of Woodstock, Ill., is a builder with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 25, 9th Naval Construction Regiment, and has been working in the stained-glass industry for approximately 12 years. Hodory organized the delivery of supplies to build the windows with help from the soldiers of the Army's 67th Air Support Group.
