English: Lance Cpl. Sergio Aguirre, a welder with Amphibious Assault Company, Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force repairs a broken fence by welding it together to secure the perimeter of the Ban Cham Krem training area here Feb 5. The training area will be utilized for combined joint operations in Exercise Cobra Gold 2012. Exercise Cobra Gold is a co-sponsored multinational, multiservice exercise hosted by the Royal Kingdom of Thailand. The exercise is designed to improve the capability to plan and conduct combined-joint operations, build relationships between partner nations and improve interoperability across the range of military operations. |
