English: The Logistics Vehicle System is one of several trucks used by Marines to deliver food, water and supplies across Iraq's Al Anbar province. Lance Cpl. Carrie A. Gossett, 22, and Cpl. Jose M. Rivera, 20, both mechanics with Maintenance Company's Motor Transport Maintenance Platoon, study several wires to ensure they reconnect them corretly after replacing the engine March 27, 2006. Gossett, from Cornelius, Ore., and Rivera, from Denver, work long hours with other MTM mechanics to support convoys and patrols by their parent command, Combat Logistics Battalion 7, and other units working in northwest Iraq. |
