English: Explosive ordnance disposal technicians completed clearing 68 pieces of unexploded ordnance Feb. 7, 2011, from the new firing range built in Ban Chan Krem for multinational training being conducted during Exercise Cobra Gold 2011. Explosive ordnance techs with 3rd EOD Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, Ground Combat Element, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade Forward, III Marine Expeditionary Force, spent three days finding unexploded ordnance and caching the ordnance in a pit a safe distance from range construction efforts. During Cobra Gold 2011, U.S., Republic of Korea and Royal Thai Marines will use the range for small arms and crew served weapons training, as well as training with larger weapon systems including the Mine Clearing Line Charge and the Assault Portable Obstacle Breaching system.
