Walker, supply chief for Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, rocks the mic as the lead singer and guitarist for “Rudy and the Sleigh Rockers” Dec. 17 during the MarForPac Christmas Party at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay. Walker began playing the guitar when he was 12 years old and has since been the front man for numerous rock and blues bands in Japan and around the U.S. Walker and his band mates, a bassist and drummer with the MarForPac Band, perform at unit parties and hope to branch out to the local community. |
