English: U.S. Navy Cmdr. Paul Dabrowski, a trauma surgeon with 4th Medical Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group out of San Diego, Calif., wears his surgical gear inside the Forward Resuscitative Surgical System facility in Boane, July 31. Dabrowski, along with the rest of his team, are deployed to Mozambique to provide medical support during Exercise SHARED ACCORD 2010, an annual, bi-lateral military exercise hosted by a different U.S. Africa Command partner nation each year. The event will eventually bring more than 700 U.S. Marines and Mozambican soldiers to Boane ranges for live fire shoots; the presence of the FRSS provides a safety net for service members participating in the event. |
