Description
English: Visitors walk across the Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni, Jan. 14. The Kintai Bridge, Iwakuni’s most iconic symbol, gives all those willing to pay a small fee the chance to walk across its ancient design. The original bridge was finished Oct. 1, 1673. The bridge that was reconstructed in 1953 undergoes repair on regular intervals to maintain the integrity of the bridge.
