Description
English: The battalion sergeant major for the Chemical Biological Incident Response Force (CBIRF), Sgt. Maj. Thomas W. Murphy (left), extracts a casualty from the collapsed structure trainer while negotiating a high-pressure water leak at the Raymond M. Downey Sr. Training Facility located in Indian Head, Md., August 25. Every Marine and Sailor stationed at the unit, regardless of rank, is required to attend a two-week basic course that focuses on the three basic CBIRF disciplines; casualty extract, decontamination, and reconnaissance.
