The humanitarian assistance delivery was a combined effort of African Partnership Station, an initiative to improve maritime safety and security throughout West and Central Africa, and the Western Africa Training Cruise 08 coordinated by Marine Forces Europe, with Marines from 4th Landing Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, responsible for the delivery of $58,000 of humanitarian assistance supplies and equipment to hospitals, clinics and schools here. |
