English: A Marine with an explosive ordnance disposal team inspects an artillery round that was found during patrols through a village in Karmah, Iraq, Sept. 22. The artillery round was wired to be used as an improvised explosive device and was found in a recently abandoned house in the village among other bomb making materials. This is one of the many caches the Marines of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, have found since arriving into the area. |
