Description
English: Lance Cpl Daniel Naranjo, a 19-year-old radio operator with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, and native of Sealy, Texas, places radio wire in a tree at Landing Zone Cardinal. Naranjo, a student at the Mountain Command and Control Communications Course, decided climbing was the most effective way to reach the elevated position necessary to establish radio communications with a field-expedient antenna Aug. 15 at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif.
