Description
English: The deck force aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay, a 140-foot ice-breaking tug, prepares to secure a NOAA weather buoy to the deck of the aids-to-navigation barge connected to the cutter, Nov. 26, 2012. The crew of the Bristol Bay is removing navigational buoys from Lake Erie as part of the 9th Coast Guard District's annual Operation Fall Retrieve, which is designed to limit damage to navigation buoys in the Great Lakes during the winter months.
