English: The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Biscayne Bay breaks ice in the St. Marys River in the vicinity of the motor vessel Paul R. Tregurtha as the Tregurtha transits upbound the river, Dec. 15, 2013. The Biscayne Bay, homeported in St. Ignace, Mich., is operating under the direction of Sector Sault Ste. Marie as part of Operation Taconite, which is an ice-breaking operation that is designed to keep commercial traffic moving during the winter shipping season. U.S. Coast Guard photo by Capt.
