Description USCGC Biscayne Bay is home ported in St. Ignace, Michigan. It’s called the Sentinel of the Straits. Primarily the Biscayne Bay operates in the Straits of Mackinac and the St. Marys River. As well the cutter is often in the St. Clair/Detroit River system, Duluth (Minnesota), and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
