English: Maj. Gen. Gary Hara, deputy commander of the Hawaii Army National Guard, U.S. Army Pacific met with members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and emergency responders with the Tentara Nasional Indonesia and the Indonesian government during the seventh annual Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange, an exercise held at the International Peace and Security Center in Sentul, Indonesia, June 5. During the exercise participants respond to a scenario in which an earthquake and subsequent tsunami have devastated Padang, an area in Indonesia that has had to deal with real disasters like this in the recent past.
