Description

“These sessions help in bringing the importance of a citizen’s role in conserving power especially in the attempt to reduce theft in the region – many people do not know the role theft plays in the current shortfall, and these [sessions] help to elucidate that.” MEPCO Additional Deputy Manager Commercial Irum Saba

The Power Distribution Program, in collaboration with MEPCO, organized a community gathering of women in MEPCO’s Wallayatabad subdivision. This activity sensitizes housewives about the prevailing practice of power theft; female MEPCO employees spoke about MEPCO’s role, the reasons behind the shortfall and the role that theft plays in it, and provided energy conservation tips for homes.
