Description BURLINGTON, N.D. – Lance Gullett (left), and Steve O’Connor, both quality assurance representatives for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, monitor temporary levee construction here, June 21, 2011. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, are currently raising temporary emergency levees in the city. The Corps’ number one priority is protecting human life and will continue to provide technical assistance to local communities affected by historic flooding along the Souris River.(U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Patrick Moes)
