Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Gaynier (DE-751), circa in 1945. She was launched on 30 January 1944 at Western Pipe & Steel, San Pedro, California (USA), but construction was suspended on 6 June 1944. The two other incomplete destroyer escorts behind may be USS Curtis W. Howard (DE-752) and USS John J. Van Buren (DE-753), which construction was also suspended at Western Pipe & Steel on 6 June 1944.
