Representatives from U.S. Department of State Export Control and Related Boarder Security Program, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, U.S. Embassy, USACE, Georgian government and military were in attendance at the event. USACE managed the $6 million dollar construction project, funded by EXBS, to replace an aging Coast Guard facility as part of a continuing effort to increase border security and maritime domain awareness in Georgia.
