Description
English: Augustine Mahiga, Special Representative of the UN Secretary General and head of the UN Political Office in Somalia (UNPOS), looks on during a press conference 19 August 2012 in the Somali capital Mogadishu. Mahiga, along with representatives of the AU, IGAD, Italy, Norway, Turkey, the US, the UK and the European Union Special Representative for the Horn of Africa Alexander Rondos (not seen) were in Somalia to reaffirm their support for the political process that will see Somalia have its first elected parliament and government in 20 years when the mandate of current Transitional Federal Government (TFG) ends tomorrow on 20 August.
