Summary

[edit]
Description
English: UNNG-BSB-2 is a small, unnamed geyser in the Black Sand Basin of Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin. The vent is located 8 to 9 meters east of Green Spring's eastern border. This geyser is usually dormant or a low to moderately low perpetual spouter. In 2016, UNNG-BSB-2 was an active geyser, with both minor eruptions and major eruptions. Minor eruptions were lower and shorter (about 1 to 2 minutes long). Major eruptions were longer in duration (about 10 mintues) and involve higher spouting.

This photo was taken in June 2023 - it was engaged in very low splashing.
