English: Master Chief Victor Delgado of the Cape Verde Coast Guard embarks a small boat from the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Legare during an Africa Partnership Station investigation of a fishing boat off the Cape Verde coast. Representatives of the Cape Verde Coast Guard and Judiciary Police are teamed with the crew of Legare to patrol Cape Verde's waters. Africa Partnership Station is a U.S. Naval Forces Europe-U.S. Naval Forces Africa-led initiative to conduct joint maritime law enforcement operations in African waters to improve maritime safety and security. |
