Description
English: U.S. Sailors perform a hip tow maneuver in which two boats are tied together to facilitate at-sea transfers of materials and personnel Feb. 25, 2013, while conducting joint river operations with the Belize Defense Force in the waters off Corozal, Belize, as part of Southern Partnership Station (SPS) 2013. SPS is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America. The exercise involves information sharing with navies, coast guards and civilian services throughout the region.
