Description
English: U.S. Sailors assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9) stand by after towing in a line during a replenishment at sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204) in the East China Sea March 27, 2014. The Denver was part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and was participating in exercise Ssang Yong 14, a combined U.S.-South Korean combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability exercise designed to advance South Korean command and control capabilities through amphibious operations.
