English: U.S. Navy Chief Musician Christopher Vlangas dances with children at the Macia Secondary School during a performance by the Commander, Naval Forces Europe-Africa Band Flagship June 11, 2012, in Macia, Mozambique. High speed vessel Swift (HSV-2) and embarked Sailors visited the city to conduct training with the Mozambican military as part of Africa Partnership Station (APS) 2012. APS is an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa. |
