Description 200424-N-WJ362-0014 NEW YORK (April 24, 2020) – U.S. Navy Capt. David Thames, a chaplain assigned to U.S. 2nd Fleet, poses for a photo at the Javits New York Medical Station while deployed in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response. Hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) is working with the Javits New York Medical Station as an integrated system to relieve the New York City medical system, in support of U.S. Northern Command’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
