Description The central portion of the south façade of the United States National Bank Building, in Portland, Oregon. This side of the building, on Stark Street, includes a single entrance that is very understated. This is where the original building of 1917 was joined to the 1925 expansion, but the two parts were blended together so well by the architect that it is difficult to find any clues to that history. This doorway was originally at the corner of the building, and the building ended immediately to its left.
