English: U.S. Marines sing the Marines Hymn July 8, 2012, during a stop at Portsmouth International Airport, N.H. The Marines were en route to Senegal to participate in Western Accord, a U.S. Africa Command-sponsored, Marine Forces Africa-led multilateral field exercise and humanitarian mission in Senegal designed to increase interoperability between the United States and several West African partner nations. The troops sang the hymn while visiting with the Pease Greeters, a volunteer organization whose members meet all troop transport aircraft stopping at Portsmouth to visit with Service members and provide refreshments during flight layovers. |
