NEW YORK BLUE IS THE CENTERPIECE OF THE NEW YORK CENTER FOR COMPUTATIONAL SCIENCE (NYCCS). New York Blue has an 18-rack configuration, a total of 36,864 processors and 18.4 TB of memory. It is the world's fastest supercomputer for general users and is expected to rank among the top ten fastest computers in the world. It is a cooperative effort between Stony Brook University and Brookhaven National Laboratory.
