English: A C-17 Globemaster III, carrying U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24, as well as one UH-1Y Venom helicopter, lands at Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Australia, on April 20, 2016. The Marines, acting as the Aviation Combat Element in a 1,250 member Marine Air-Ground Task Force capability, will provide air support for Marine Rotation Force – Darwin with four UH-1Y Venom helicopters. MRF-D is a six-month deployment of Marines into Darwin, Australia, where they will conduct exercises and train with the Australian Defence Forces, strengthening the U.S.-Australia alliance.
