Ginn, a medic with the Regional Command South (RC-S) Protective Service Detail, 82nd Airborne Division, doubles as an armrest for an Afghan boy during a mission in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, Nov. 2, 2011. Ginn and his team escorted the leadership of RC-S to locations for meetings with Afghan leaders, securing the routes they travel on and the locations of the meetings. The team had frequent interactions with Afghan military, police and civilians, particularly children, during these meetings. |
