Pictured are earth-covered magazines, or igloos, found at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot. Built during the early 1940s, each igloo was built using wooden forms with rebar stretched over 2 x 2-foot steel pans to capture the concrete. Each igloo took approximately two weeks to complete, and the structures have been used to safely store mustard agent-filled munitions since 1952.
