| Description |
English: Tyrannosaurus Rex The dinosaur is called Millie, and is about 45 feet long. It was present here for the duration of the "Walking With Dinosaurs" exhibition that was held in Glasgow University's Hunterian Museum in 2001; the museum is located in the building that is visible in the background.
This life-size model was made by John Riddell, and had been specially commissioned for this exhibition. My thanks to Thomas Nugent for additional information; for his own photograph of the sculpture, see 1902203. |
