English: The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image of Typhoons Bolaven and Tembin, interacting in a Fujiwhara effect at 2:40(UTC) on August 27, 2012. A that time, Tembin was starting to be pulled to the east after moving southwestward by Bolaven, as a category 1 typhoon, and Tembin as category 3. |
