They stand beside a low dry embankment with pots on their backs slung in cloths from around their heads. The woman on the right carries a small pail as well. They both wear long shirts and skirts and are barefoot. A cloth lies on embankment at left. The pueblo of Mishongnovi is visible in the distance.
