Description
English: Mount Perry Social Event.
A most enjoyable "nation tea" was given by Mrs. J. F. Maguire in the winter garden of the Grand Hotel, Mt. Perry, on Wednesday afternoon to wish "bon voyage" to Mrs. Dr. J. Smith-Guthridge, prior to her departure to her home in Sydney.

After the guessing competition a recherche afternoon tea was partaken of. The first prize was awarded to Miss Bolton (Brisbane), and the consolation prize to Mrs. J Williams.

The musical portion of the program was much appreciated, and was contributed to by Mrs. Smith-Guthridge, Mrs. J. Alder, Misses. E. A. Elworthy and V. Barry, who also acted as accompanist.

The guests were afterwards photographed in the winter garden. Those present included Mesdames Amos, Wilkinson, Barry, Wuth, Williams, McNamee, Alder, Hunter, Pactching, Misses. Elworthy (2), Wuth, McNamee, Bolton, Barry, Jones.
