English: This photo shows two single-deck buses on display at an Open Day held at Barking Bus Garage. The blue one on the left is preserved 34221 (W221 DNO) a 2000 Dennis Dart SFD with Plaxton Pointer 2 30-seater bodywork in the former Stagecoach livery. It was allocated to Bromley Bus Garage (TQ4266) and its destination blind shows route 227 that operated between Crystal Palace and Bromley North Station via Penge and Beckenham. Go-Ahead London now operate that route from Orpington Garage (TQ4563). The red vehicle on the right is 66034 (LF73 DYC) a new Volvo BZL electric bus with MCV 20-seater bodywork. It shows on its destination blind route 394 which operates between Islington and Homerton Hospital via Hoxton and Hackney. |
