Description
English: Two U.S. Navy Ling-Temco-Vought A-7E Corsair II of Attack Squadron 27 (VA-27) "Royal Maces" on the deck of the aircraft USS Enterprise (CVAN-65), 29 April 1975. VA-27 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 14 (CVW-14) aboard the Enterprise for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 17 September 1974 to 20 May 1975. The photo was taken during Operation Frequent Wind, the evacuation of South Vietnam.
