English: British engineering icons. Preserved Routemaster buses and a Concorde (No. 001, reg. G-AXDN), being posed together in Hanger 1 of the Imperial War Museum Duxford as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Routemaster (see Routemasters with Concorde, Showbus 2004 for full details). In this shot, RM1 (reg. SLT 56) is the red bus to the left, the light green bus in the port position is NBC coach RMC1476 (reg. 476 CLT), while just visible through its windows is the dark green of Green Line RMC1477 (reg. 477 CLT) in the starboard position. |
