Description
English: Two U.S. Air Force Douglas A-1E Skyraider (133857, 133865) of the 1st Special Operations Squadron at Nahkon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, 2 April 1972.
  • 133857 was shot down over Laos on 17 June 1972. The pilot was killed (this was the last USAF Skyraider pilot killed during the Vietnam War);
  • 133865 was shot down over South Vietnam by a SA-7 missile on 2 May 1972. The pilot was rescued.
