English: Twin Cylinder Compound Marine engine. Marine engines are usually vertical and this is a typical example, it is a compound so used high pressure steam first then low pressure in a bigger cylinder.
This is at Markham Grange steam museum. It was used in the now scrapped grab hopper dredger Seiont II 614398. |
