Description
English: Twin Aatchala Shiva temple of Pal Chowdhury family at Ranaghat in Nadia district. Krishna Panti was the founder of Pal Chowdhury family who obtained the "Pal Chowdhury" title from Nadia's king Krishna Chandra. The temples which are studded with terracotta plaques were constructed by Krishna Panti's younger brother Shambhu Chandra in 1802. Though the photographs of built Heritage of Ranaghat are included in "Wiki Explores Nadia II", they were shot at an earlier date.
