CROSBY'S IMPROVED EGYPTIAN EXTRA EARLY. The best for market gardeners. A very superior strain of blood- red Egyptian, carefully selected for years by Mr. Crosby, a noted market gardener, whose aim was to secure a perfect forcing vari- ety. The shape is very desirable. A rapid grower, it may be sown outside as late as July. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. H. & P.'S EARLY BARK RED TURNIP. The best deep red turnip beet, not only for market gardeners, but for the home garden. Its small upright growing tops, early maturing, and the splendid shape and color of tbe roots, make it popular with every one who plants it. Tops small, upright grow- ing, so that the rows may be close together; leaf-stems and veins dark red, blade green; roots globular or ovoid, peculiarly smooth; color of skin dark blood-red; flesh bright red, zoned with a lighter shade, very crisp, tender and sweet, and remaining so for a long time. The stock we offer will produce a crop more uniform in shape, color and quality than any other beet seed obtainable. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. EXTRA EARLY EGYPTIAN BLOOD TURNIP. A standard sort, being from ten to twelve days earlier than the old Blood Turnip. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 50c. THE LENTZ BEET. An excellent new strain of Blood Turnip. Fully as early as the Egyptian. Packet,5c; ounce 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. ECLIPSE. A new globe-shaped variety; as early as the Egyptian, and much larger. Packet,5c; ounce,10c; 34pound,20c; pound, 60c. EXTRA EARLY BASSANO. A valuable market sort. Flesh white rose, encircled with bright pink; tender and sweet. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. DEWING'S IMPROVED BLOOD TURNIP. Roots df^krich red, of fine form and flavor. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34lHmd,20c; pound, 60c. LONG SMOOTH BLOOD RED. A well-known winter sort. Long, smooth, sweet and tender. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. HALF LONG BLOOD RED. A desirable handsome wedge-shaped root. Packet, 5c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 20c; pound, 60c. MANGEL WURZELS. Mammoth Long Red. More attention should be given to the culture of root crops, for their great value to thousands of people is still yet unknown, and but few farmers are aware of the large profit there is in growing Mangel Wurzels for stock feeding. We have several tons of seed of our Mammoth Long Red, grown under special contract, that we offer as low as other dealers offer ordinary stock. Our MAMMOTH LONG RED, the most productive variety for feeding cattle. Ounce, 5c; one pound,40c; six pounds (enough for one acre), $2.25. If your order goes by freight or express, de- duct 8c per pound. Golden Tankard. ( Yellow-Fleshed.) A most important addition to the list of stock-feeding roots. Packet, 3c; ounce, 10c; pound, 40c. Vilmorine's Imperial Sugar. An improved variety, exceeding all in percentage of sugar. Packet, 3c; ounce, 10c; 34 pound, 15c; pound, 40c. BRUSSELS SPROUTS. Sow in May, the same as Cauliflower, and transplant in July. IMPROVED DWARF. The best variety. Packet, 5c; ounce, 15e; 34 pound, 40c. BROCCOLI. Nearly allied to the Cauliflower, but more hardy. LARGE WHITE. Resembling Cauliflower. Packet, 10c; ounce, 30c. PURPLE CAPE. One of the hardiest sorts. Packet, 10c; ounce, 30c. BORECOLE, OR KALE. DWARF GERMAN GRISEN.
