(Tune; Good King Wenceslas looked out.) We took a stroll down Amber Mews Last day of the ye-ar. Snapped this view of garbage loose. Alleyway not cle-ar. Cruddy stuff lay all around Food waste, cans and clothing Metal frames, discarded wood Rubbish we are loathing Bin's o'er flowed with garbage bags Stacked along the wa-all C'mon Haringey sort it out This won't do at aa-all Bring Veolia's garbage truck Enforcement Team don't dither Cleanse these mounds from off the ground Before they start to sli-i-ther. The Old Normal Zena and I went to the Big Green Bookshop in Wood Green to collect a copy of 'The End of Normal' by James K. Galbraith. In my photo above, the bookshop is the green door and window directly facing the alleyway. Piled-up rubbish in this alley still seems the current 'normal'. The three photos below are also from 31 December 2015.
