Summary
[edit]DescriptionTutta Beck in Jack Wood - geograph.org.uk - 1575757.jpg |
English: Tutta Beck in Jack Wood The public footpath south from Rokeby church to Brignall crosses Tutta Beck by a wooden footbridge. In a damp autumn, the path down to the bridge, the bridge itself, and the path back up are shady, wet and treacherously slippery, rocks and roots being concealed by the fallen leaves. This view looks upstream from the bridge over Tutta Beck, in the direction of Tutta Beck Farm, the likely source for the shredded plastic bags in the streambed. At this time of year, these woods contain a huge number of pheasants. |
