Description
Italiano: Tursi è la città di Albino Pierro, il poeta più volte candidato al Premio Nobel per la letteratura, cui è dedicato anche il Parco Letterario ambientato nella sua casa natale.La Rabatana è uno splendido groviglio di case costruite con pietre e laterizi, nella struttura e nella denominazione eredità dei Saraceni che vi si insediarono nell’850 a.C.. Queste piccole costruzioni fanno della città un esempio di architettura spontanea di pregio. Tutt’intorno, il paesaggio è dominato da blocchi di origine argillosa, noti come Calanchi, cui il trascorrere del tempo e l’azione degli agenti atmosferici hanno fatto assumere forme bizzarre e suggestive.
