Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Turnover Bridge This bridge was built after the North Staffordshire Railway took over the canal in 1847, to swap the towing path to the other side. The ramps both face the same way so that towing horses could cross without being unhitched. Various parts of the bridge, particularly the bits painted black, appear to be made from lengths of rail.
