Français : La turlutte se présente comme un petit grappin formé d'une olive en plomb peint en rouge et armée à sa base de plus de vingt deux hameçons disposés en couronne. A cette extrémité l'objet est pourvu d'une anneau d'attache en cuivre. De l'autre côté, l'olive en forme de calmar est percée d'un petit trou circulaire. Une turlutte est une sorte de grappin par casaquer (piquer le poisson en un autre endroit que la bouche) le poisson et certains caphalopodes. Dans ce cas précis cette turlutte était utilisée lors de la pêche aux morues pour attraper des encornets. (20ème siècle) Fait de métal et de plomb. Origine Saint-Malo.
English: The "turlutte" is a small grappling hook consisting of a lead olive painted in red and armed at its base with more than twenty-two hooks arranged in a crown. At this end, the object is equipped with a copper attachment ring. On the other side, the squid-shaped olive is pierced with a small circular hole. A "turlutte" is a kind of grappling hook used to snag fish and certain cephalopods by hooking them in a place other than the mouth.
